Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 6 Tbs butter
- 1 cup milk
- 4 cups Sour Cream & Onion Instant Mashed Potatoes
- 2 Tbs butter
- 2 onions, cut into strips
- 1 Tbs paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 lbs ham, cut into large chunks
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Add water and butter to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in milk and Sour Cream & Onion Mashed Potato mix. Whisk briskly for about 1 minute, until texture is smooth and silky.
- Sauté onions in butter with seasonings in a small pan until tender and caramelized.
- Mix together prepared mashed potatoes and diced ham.
- Spread potato mixture in a spayed casserole dish.
- Top with caramelized onions and Panko breadcrumbs
- Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes - Simple and Delicious!
